We want our students to maintain optimal health while pursuing their academic goals and develop or sustain a lifestyle that will support wellness throughout their lives.
The Student Health Center with services provided by Mercy Healthcare serves on-campus students for a variety of medical conditions, from flu-like symptoms and minor injuries to physical examinations and immunizations. The clinic has an on-site nurse practitioner to confidentially assist students with their healthcare needs.

Cost
Incidental fees paid by all students cover the cost of most nurse practitioner services including office visit and in office laboratory testing.
There is a nominal charge for special services, vaccines and supplies. These costs are billed to the student’s Lindenwood University account.
Students can view approximates costs for additional services. Charges are subject to change without notice. Additional fees may apply.
Staff
Registered nurse practitioners provide health services and education.
A nurse practitioner is a nurse with advanced training who can provide a full range of primary health care services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic health problems, ordering tests and interpreting results, and prescribing medication. A local adult primary care physician supervises the nurse practitioner.
Services
Included, but not limited to:
- Office visits include services for flu-like symptoms, cough, common cold, treatment of illness and injury (non-emergency), and blood pressure monitoring.
- In-office laboratory testing including, urine, throat, pregnancy, flu, mononucleosis, glucose, tuberculosis, total cholesterol screening and sexually transmitted diseases.
- Well-woman examinations
- Immunizations
- Physical examinations/consultations
Additional services are available at a nominal fee.

Health Center Forms
Students who are using the Health Center for the first time will need to complete all forms prior to their first appointment. Please print to fill out and bring with you to your first appointment.
Can I be tested for COVID-19 at the Student Health Center?
Yes. We will have a combined COVID-19 and flu test available. Please call to schedule an appointment to be tested.
If I am experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19, can I make an appointment?
Yes. You will call (636) 949-4525 to make an appointment. Based on your screening outcome, you will be given a virtual or in-person appointment.
Do you offer the COVID-19 vaccine?
No, we do not off the COVID-19 vaccine. We will offer the flu vaccine, once made available.
